Claudia Appling Williams has been singing in the Big Sky Country most of her life. As the lead singer of Montana Rose, she is following her dream of songwriting and interpreting songs of others that speak to her soul. She enjoys telling the stories of life and love in the west, sharing tales that most just dream about. A true Montana Icon, born and raised in the west and carrying on the culture in music.
She’s the daughter of a National Park Service Ranger, growing up in places like Yellowstone NP, Yosemite NP, Channel Islands, etc…she was raised with a respect for the land and wildlife. And combining her love of cooking and horses, well she’s just a natural addition to the crew at Rockin HK Outfitters.

Linda has worked in fine dining restaurants as well as owned her owncatering companies. She has a passion for preparing extraordinary gourmet food, made from scratch with local sustainable ingredients.
As a fifth generation Montanan Linda has a genuine respect for all that is the history and beauty of Montana. Her rich Montana family heritage includes French fur trappers, Butte mine workers, bar owners, a Mounted Ranger, a railroad engineer, cattle ranchers and even an FBI agent. Her family taught her to respect the great Montana back country to ride, hunt and fish and fully appreciate the abundant wild life always present here. Linda, her wonderful husband Bart and their German Short-hair Fleder Maus currently live in Bozeman.
