Guides
Hello there- My name is Kate Taylor and I am going to be the 2011 “Day-ride Girl” In the summer of 2009, I worked as a horseback guide out of Gardiner Montana, into Yellowstone National Park. I grew up in Polson, Montana and the outdoors and mountains are definitely in my blood. I work out as often as possible to stay fit. I have been an athlete my whole life. I pride myself on my Perseverance and my ability to problem solve. I am very teachable, personable, and am a team player. Growing up here in Montana I learned so many things that will stay with me the rest of my life. I did so many wonderful things that have shaped me into the person I am today, like; Varsity Basketball, Tennis, National Honor Society, Editor in Chief for student newspaper- Salishian, Freshman Advisory, snowboarding, horseback riding, rodeo, hiking, and camping which lead me into my interest of veterinary science. So it was off to MSU (Michigan State University) where I followed my dreams with MSU Women’s Varsity Rowing team, snowboarding, equine studies, working out, riding horses, training horses, hiking, camping, music, art, a part-time position as a barn hand, and equine nutrition. Now I work as an Equine Veterinary Assistant near Versailles, KY and can hardly wait to get back to my roots in ol’ Montana. Can’t wait to meet you!
