Here’s Jody Laird who grew up in Oregon on a family ranch. Jody moved to Montana in ’92 and worked for Bear’s Den Outfitters for 17 years wrangling and packing. He takes great pride in his string and packing abilities. Loving the outdoors, he’s grateful to have a job that keeps him there. Jody is married to a wonderful woman and has two beautiful boys, 9 and 4. He’s a dedicated husband and father and is just the same for the people he works for. He loves a good laugh, even if it’s at himself. Every day is a new adventure and what a better way to experience it than on the back of his favorite horse! Full moons, bright stars, a good string, great company, all the beautiful wildlife, and a wolf’s howl or the bugle of a bull elk; is what raises the hair on his neck. That’s when he knows he’s right where he’s supposed to be.
This is Cody Covas. He grew up in Ennis Montana and has lived and breathed the great outdoors all of his life. Cody was lucky enough to have outfitting in his blood as his father showed him the skills of packing at a very young age. Cody has been packing and guiding professionally for the past 10 years. He has both first aid and CPR certificates along with his YNP guide card.
