We are so excited for the upcoming season! Rockin’ HK Outfitters now offers; a 1/2 – day horseback ride in Yellowstone National Park together  with a 1/2 – day rafting trip at either of our two locations. Your Days exploration will start in Yellowstone Park with a magnificent 3 hour horseback ride including a wonderful lunch and cold beverages. Then it’s down to the river for a beautiful raft trip on either the Yellowstone or Gallatin Rivers.  This day tour blends two of the most accelerating activities Montana has to offer. Both of these adventures I consider to be “Old school” Montana fun. Just as the trails of Yellowstone were traveled by old time mountain men like Teddy Roosevelt, Jim Bridger, and Calamity Jane,the rivers here also claim a very rich history. In the old days rivers were used for both travel and  the harvesting of lumber. Men would “push” timber down these waterways for collection in flatter and more accessible areas. Sometimes these logs would form a jam in the narrow spots  forcing the men to run out onto the timber and kick the jam free. As I’m sure you could guess these jams resulted in the loss of life for many of these unbelievably daring men. Obviously now, there is  a big rubber raft under you and an experienced guide at the helm, allowing you the ability to enjoy the beauty and serenity of these rivers. We are lucky enough to have great relationships with two different rafting companies in the area. This allows more freedoms with rafting times and availability. We will handle all booking arrangements and supply you with confirmation as to your reservation.          Montana White Water services both the Gallatin and Yellowstone Rivers while River Source Rafting Co. runs the Yellowstone.
